4x2 300HP SINOTRUK HOWO Refrigerated Truck For Cameroon

Three months ago, a customer from Cameroon contacted us through our website. The customer would like to purchase a refrigerated truck to transport the fruit. Then, we discussed the refrigerated truck’s configuration, price and lead time. The customer picked up the truck smoothly. The refrigerated truck quickly put in to work. The customer send us the photos and video of the refrigerated truck in operation. In the video, workers are unloading cargo from the truck. The interior is well cooled, and the fruit appears fresh. After loading crates of fruit onto carts, the workers push them down the ramp at the rear of the refrigerated truck. Once unloading is complete, the rear doors close and the ramp retracts. The refrigerated truck then drives onto the highway.

 

Based on the application of the refrigerated truck, the cargo box of the refrigerated truck have special detailed design.This cargo box is specifically engineered for transporting tropical fruits in Cameroon, designed to withstand the region's high temperatures, humidity, and dusty road conditions, ensuring freshness throughout the journey for mangoes, pineapples, and other fruits. Constructed with high strength sandwich composite panels, the cargo box features premium fiberglass outer and inner skins that resist UV rays, corrosion, and facilitate easy cleaning. Its core is filled with high density polyurethane foam insulation, available in standard 80mm thickness or customizable 100mm thickened options. Vacuum thermocompressed into a seamless, thermal bridge free monoblock, it delivers exceptional cold retention. The interior floor features anti slip patterned aluminum plates with drainage channels to divert condensation, preventing fruit rot from water accumulation. All hardware, including corner guards and hinges, is made of 304 stainless steel, resistant to rainwater corrosion and reducing maintenance costs. Double doors feature labyrinth style rubber seals for tight thermal isolation. Paired with the cooling unit, precise temperature control from 0 10°C meets diverse fruit preservation needs while minimizing transport losses. The lightweight body design maximizes effective loading capacity without compromising strength or insulation, tailored for local fruit cold chain transportation requirements.

 

 

To make sure the refrigerated truck could operate stably in the urban highway, the truck is equipped with the WEICHAI brand 300HP engine.The Weichai 300 horsepower engine delivers maximum torque between 1050 1250 N·m, with peak torque available at low engine speeds of 1200 1600 rpm. Given Cameroon's urban roads featuring inclines, congested sections, and uneven surfaces, This characteristic enables vehicles to deliver ample power during heavy load starts, low speed following, and hill climbing without requiring high RPMs. It prevents driving jerks caused by frequent gear changes, thereby enhancing urban transportation efficiency while reducing fruit damage from jolts. Simultaneously, it lowers driver workload, making it well suited for the frequent start stop demands of urban fruit transportation operations. Featuring remote oil filter monitoring and a multi stage radial seal composite dust filter, this engine enables straightforward filter maintenance without specialized tools, aligning with local Cameroonian repair capabilities.

 

 

To fitted with the WEICHAI brand 300HP engine, the refrigerated truck is equipped with the HW19710 gearbox.The HW19710 transmission delivers a maximum input torque of 1900 N·m, perfectly matched to the torque output of the Weichai 300 horsepower engine. It fully harnesses the engine's low end torque, combined with a high gear ratio of 14.284 in first gear. This enables powerful acceleration and ample low speed following power during heavy fruit transport in Cameroon's urban areas. It maintains smooth operation on urban inclines or rough terrain, preventing speed loss due to poor power transition and ensuring efficient urban delivery of fruits. The HW19710 transmission operates reliably across a wide temperature range of -40°C to 120°C, perfectly suited for Cameroon's high temperature urban climate. This prevents transmission issues such as overheating oil or gear shifting hesitation caused by extreme heat.
