1. Fuel Tank Body Production Technology

We first use a laser cutting machine to cut the plate, which has high cutting precision, smooth surface and fast cutting speed.

 

 

Then use robot automatic welding technology to weld the seams, improve welding efficiency and welding quality, and make the welds more beautiful.

 

 

Then we will use a shot blasting machine to sandblast the surface of the tank body, fully clean the welding slag on the surface of the tank body, and the surface of the tank body after shot blasting will be smoother, more uniform and more beautiful.

 

 

Finally, we will use the powder electrostatic coating process for painting. The powder electrostatic coating process uses a high-voltage electrostatic electric field to make the powder coating and the tank body carry opposite charges to each other, so as to absorb the powder coating onto the coated object. The sprayed tank body is sent to the oven, and the powder melts, flows and solidifies at high temperature to form a solid coating. The coating formed in this way is uniform, flat, smooth, has strong adhesion, and has good corrosion resistance and aging resistance.

 

 

 

2. Fuel Tank Body Wave Breaking Board Design

 

When a fuel tank truck is driving, especially when braking, turning or accelerating suddenly, the liquid in the tank body will shake and fluctuate violently due to inertia. The wave-breaking board divides the internal space of the tank body into multiple relatively independent small spaces, limiting the flow range of the liquid and reducing the fluctuation amplitude of the liquid, thereby reducing the impact force of the liquid on the tank body, helping to maintain the stability and balance of the vehicle, improving the stability during transportation, reducing the risk of safety accidents caused by liquid shaking, and ensuring the safety of people and goods during transportation. The wave-breaking board can also disperse the impact force of the liquid, reduce the direct effect of the liquid on the tank body, extend the service life of the tank body, and reduce the possibility of failure or damage to the tank due to liquid impact.

 

 

3. Fuel Tank Truck Static Electricity Removal Device

 

a. Static belt

 

When a fuel tank truck is driving, friction between the vehicle body and the air, the tires and the ground, etc. will generate static electricity. If static electricity accumulates to a certain extent, it may generate electric sparks, causing fire or explosion accidents. The static belt can guide this static electricity to the ground to prevent static electricity from accumulating on the vehicle body. Static electricity will cause dust and impurities to be absorbed on the surface of the vehicle body, affecting the appearance and cleanliness of the vehicle. By eliminating static electricity, the static belt can reduce the absorption of dust and keep the body cleaner.

 

 

b. Electrostatic reel

 

The electrostatic reel is mainly used to prevent static electricity generated by the fuel tank truck during loading and unloading, avoid fire and explosion accidents caused by static electricity accumulation, and ensure fire safety during loading and unloading. The electrostatic reel conducts the static electricity of the fuel tank truck to the ground through the grounding wire to prevent static electricity from accumulating on the equipment and materials. The fuel tank truck and the entire loading and unloading equipment are kept at the same potential to prevent potential differences. The electrostatic reel can accelerate the leakage of charges in the material, so that static electricity can be dissipated in a timely and rapid manner, reducing the possibility of static electricity accumulation, and further ensuring the safety of loading and unloading operations.

 

 

4. Safety Accessories Design For Fuel Tank Truck

 

a. Fire-Fighting Equipment: The fuel tank truck is equipped with two dry powder fire extinguishers of more than 4kg, and the cab is equipped with a fire extinguisher of no less than 1kg, which are in good condition and easy to use.

 

 

b. Warning Signs: Orange reflective tapes and reflective signs, vehicle signs are affixed to both sides and the rear of the tank body of the tanker, and safety signs matching the transported goods are hung.

 

 

c. Safety Warning Lights: Warning lights are installed on the top of the cab of the fuel tank truck, and clearance lights are installed on the top of the tail of the tank body. These warning lights can clearly show the height and width of the vehicle, allowing other road users, such as drivers and pedestrians, to quickly and accurately judge the outline and size of the tanker, so as to better plan their own driving routes and avoid accidents such as collisions. Provide guidance at night or in dimly lit environments and in bad weather. The light emitted by the clearance lights and warning lights can make the fuel tank truck noticed by other vehicles and pedestrians at a distance, ensuring driving safety.

 

 

5. Valve Design For Fuel Tank Truck

 

a. Manhole Explosion-Proof Cover: The manhole explosion-proof cover of the fuel tank truck is mainly composed of large and small covers, upper and lower pressure plates, emergency ventilation pressure cover spring machine breathing valve, etc. It is an important safety device installed on the top of the fuel tank truck. The manhole explosion-proof cover enables the fuel tank truck to have the functions of tipping prevention and explosion prevention. At the same time, when the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the fuel tank truck is too large, it has a breathing function to achieve internal and external pressure balance. The manhole explosion-proof cover is suitable for fuel tank truck that transport light fuels such as gasoline, kerosene, and diesel.

 

 

b. Submarine Valve (Emergency Shut-Off Valve): The subsea valve of the fuel tank truck consists of five parts: shell, sealing mechanism, transmission mechanism, tank connection flange, and outlet flange. The subsea valve of the tank truck is installed at the bottom of the tank truck, the valve disc seal is in the tank, and a cut-off groove is designed on the valve body. When an accident occurs to the tanker, such as collision, overturning, etc., which causes damage to the downstream pipeline system, the subsea valve can automatically cut off to prevent the oil in the tank from leaking through the damaged pipeline, avoiding serious accidents such as fire and explosion caused by oil leakage, and improving the safety of oil transportation.

 

 

c. Oil Unloading Valve (Api Valve): The oil unloading valve of the fuel tank truck is usually made of aluminum alloy, which has strong conductivity and can effectively prevent sparks. The oil unloading valve is generally installed on the lower side of the tanker to facilitate the operator to open and close the operation. The standard size of the oil unloading valve is 2.5 feet, and users can also choose 3 feet to speed ​​up oil unloading.
